ABOUT ME

Hello, I am Veronica Wakefield Young. I am a young fashion design student and artist. I attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for three years. Where I learned the majority of fashion design skills like flat patterning, draping, and construction. I have transferred to St.Catherine University to complete my major in Fashion Design and minor in Fashion Marketing or Sustainable Thinking. I have experience creating and designing my own clothes, styling, hair and makeup, organizing and shooting photoshoots, as well as collaborating with amazing artists and photographers. It is my goal to create change both through visually striking images and photographs, and production by sourcing from selvage textile waste, local businesses, and Zero waste design. She enjoys combining conceptual theory and waste to create something new.
